4 week check up
weight: 9.6 lbs (average in her age-range)
height: 22 1/4″ (top 90th percentile)
Not much to report from our appointment. They said she is gaining good amounts of weight & were surprised with how alert, calm & strong she is. Not to mention the fact that she sleeps through the night and has for almost two weeks. They jokingly asked if she was older than a month and said that she’s gonna be advanced (but I already knew that! She is our child, afterall!).
Better start baby-proofing the house soon!

In a similar vein as “No Jacket Required,” I was gonna Photoshop Lucy’s head onto the “Attack of the 50 Ft. Woman” poster (the one you had in your room when I was a kid!), and change it to “Attack of the 50 Ft. Rocket Scientist.”
I got as far as Photoshopping her head on to that girl, and put a rocket ship in the background, beakers in her hands, and nerd glasses over her face… and I showed it to Amelia and she agreed it looked way too creepy so I nixed the whole idea.
I guess what I was trying to say is, you have one tall smart baby and she is awesome!!!
